Biography

Shawna Erback born 1973, grew up in a beautiful valley in the West Kootenays, Canada. Her artistic talents were prominent at a young age but with a young family and owner of a successful cosmetic company she was not able to pursue art until she was in her late twenties. Since then Shawna has immersed herself in the artistic community. Shawna is also an active member of various art organizations and charities.

She and her family moved back to the valley of her youth where she could focus on her new career with a renewed and refreshed outlook on her life. Shawna is a self taught artist and paints full time. "Art is in my blood, several of my great aunts are also wonderful painters, it's not just a talent or something I do, it's who I am". Her works have been purchased for private and corporate collections all over the world including the United States, Italy, Scotland and Russia.

Shawna is a self-representing artist.  Her dedication and marketing skills has made her a top selling internet artist and has sold over 600 original paintings to date. “You can’t leave it up to someone else to make you a success. You need to get out there and do it yourself, in the end it's up to you.”
